The Stoddard Building was designed by the Lansing, Michigan-based firm of Kenneth C. Black Associates, Inc. for Michigan National Bank, and named for its president Howard J. Stoddard. Bought and renovated by the Michigan Legislature, it now houses the offices of the Michigan State Senate. Presently, the building is known as the Billie S. Farnum Senate Office Building.
