This building was designed by Troy, Michigan-based architect Minoru Yamasaki in 1958 for the American Concrete Institute. The building served as the headquarters for the Institute until 1996 when a new facility was constructed in the Detroit, Michigan, suburb of Farmington Hills. The building is now home to the Detroit chapter of the Starr Commonwealth organization.
