The Michigan State Housing Development Authority, State Historic Preservation Office (“Authority”) is seeking a firm that is authorized to do business in Michigan to write a National Historic Landmark (“NHL”) nomination for Lafayette Park in Detroit, Michigan. Lafayette Park is a 1956 residential housing redevelopment project by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, landscape architect Alfred Caldwell, and developer Herbert Greenwald.
