  1. What is the process for adding buildings and architects? There is much to see in West Michigan.

    • MI SHPO says:

      Hi Dennis,

Yes, that’s something we’ve noted, but haven’t been able to remedy just yet. If you’re asking about our internal process, we began with National Register of Historic Places-listed buildings. Most of those have been posted, and we’re moving on to whatever buildings we have information for.

If you’re asking because you’d like to contribute to the project, the answer is: we’ll take whatever you have. That said, ideally we’d like a short history of the building, the architect, and photographs (historical and/or current). You can post them to the site and we’ll rearrange as necessary, or you can email the info to any of us listed on the contact page. We may have follow-up questions, for which we’d contact you.

Hopefully that answers your question. If not, please let us know.
