Crain’s Detroit Business published an article on its web site yesterday noting that the offices of Yamasaki Associates Inc., in Troy, Michigan, is closing.
Yamasaki Associates, as the article points out, “is the legacy company of founder Minoru Yamasaki,” who designed such Michigan buildings as Temple Beth El in Bloomfield Hills, the Michigan State Medical Society Headquarters Building in East Lansing, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago Detroit Branch Building, and Christ Church Grosse Pointe Education Building in Grosse Pointe Farms, among many others.
